How It Works

From a digital design to a working prop on your wrist. Here's what goes into every WebHead Workshop product.

// from printer to package
How We Make Them
Every product is made to order. No mass production, no warehouse stock — just your order, printed and assembled by hand.
✏️
01
Design
Every model starts as a CAD file. We design each part from scratch — mechanisms, housings, latches, levers — optimized for 3D printing and real-world use.
Software: Blender. Each design goes through multiple revision cycles before release.

02
Print
Your order is sliced and sent to our printers. Depending on the model and your custom color choices, each web shooter takes several hours to print — layer by layer, part by part.
We print primarily with PLA filament, with some models using ABS or PETG for specific performance needs. Custom colors are matched from our filament library.
🔧
03
Assemble
Our models are designed to be print-in-place — they come off the printer ready to go with working mechanisms already built in. This means less post-production, lower costs, and a better price for you. Hardware like straps and spray bottles are installed by hand.
04
Test
Every functional web shooter is tested before it leaves the workshop. We fire the mechanism, check the fit, and make sure everything clicks, latches, and sprays the way it should. If it doesn't pass, it doesn't ship.
📦
05
Pack & Ship
Your order is carefully packaged and shipped with a tracking number. Domestic orders typically arrive within a few days after the 5–7 day production window. International shipping is available worldwide.

How To Use Them
Different models work differently. Here's a quick guide for each type.
💧
Spray Bottle Models
Unscrew the spray bottle top, fill with water, screw it back on. Load the bottle into the web shooter — the notch should align with the gap. Close the latch until it snaps. Strap it on and press the lever with your middle and ring fingers. You may need to prime it 2–3 times after refilling.
🔥
Lighter-Based Models
These use a mixture of soap, water, and butane to create a burst effect. Load the cartridge, fill according to the included instructions, and fire using the trigger mechanism. Creates a dramatic, visible burst.
⚠️ Requires butane — adult supervision required
🎭
Prop-Only Models
No moving parts — designed for display, cosplay, and photography. Simply strap it on and look the part. Lightweight and comfortable for extended wear at conventions or events.
📐
STL Files
Download the files, import into your slicer (we recommend Bambu Studio, but other slicers will work), and print with the recommended settings included in your purchase. PLA at standard resolution works best. Assembly instructions are included.
💡 Pro Tips
🎯
Point the feeder tube down. For spray bottle models, twist the bottle so the tube is submerged in water during use. This gives you a consistent spray every time.
🧴
Use room temperature water. Cold water can cause condensation inside the mechanism. Room temp works best and won't affect the plastic.
🔄
Prime after refilling. After refilling the spray bottle, press the lever 2–3 times to get the air out before expecting a full spray.
🧽
Dry after use. Empty excess water after you're done and let the shooter air dry. This prevents any buildup inside the mechanism.
☀️
Avoid prolonged heat. PLA can soften in direct sunlight or hot cars. Store your web shooters indoors at room temperature.
